West Iredell Water Customers
Stage 2 - Mandatory Water Restrictions
With Iredell County & the City of Statesville moving to Stage 2 Restrictions, West Iredell Water Company must also move into a Stage Two Mandatory Water Shortage Condition that requires our customers using irrigation to shift a mandatory watering schedule as of Friday, July 19th, 2024.
Mandatory Irrigation Restrictions:
Lawn and landscape irrigation is allowed only during the following times and locations:
- Odd-numbered street addresses:
- Tuesday 8 p.m. to Wednesday 8 a.m.
- Saturday 8 p.m. to Sunday 8 a.m.
- Even-numbered street addresses and unnumbered addresses:
- Thursday 8 p.m. to Friday 8 a.m.
- Sunday 8 p.m. to Monday 8 a.m.
The following also applies to all customers:
- Repair all known leaks!
- Limit car washing to a minimum
- Limit clothes washing
- Turn off the tap when brushing teeth, washing dishes, or other tasks that don’t require a continuous flow of water
- Do not wash down outside areas such as sidewalks, decks, parking lots, service bays, etc
